Candlestick Holder

Candlestick Holder

Candlestick Holder

I made a candlestick holder today. It was incredibly¬†easy. I put some artificial snow on, let it dry and tied the ribbbons. They are wired to the frame. The stamp was made with Stampin’ Up ink and reindeer stamp. The “Create Joy” stamp was one I owned before I was associated with Stampin’ Up. The beauty of this project is in its simplicity.

Country with a Bit of Glitzy 2

This is the same centerpiece shown in “Country with a Bit of Glitzy 1” yet the mood is very different due to the country look of the candle.

Warm Wishes

I made this card last year at a Stamp a Stack hosted by Beverly. I tucked a few away and found them while sending cards out. I liked it too much to give all of them away and tucked one in the wreath behind my desk. Somehow adding paper crafts to a wreath just makes it better. All materials in the card are from Stampin’ Up.

This wreath was made by spraying a grapevine wreath form with white floral spray paint . A simple bow and various picks were used to build up the design at the bottom. Note that the design is intentionally off center.

Time to Stop Crafting

Mrs. Carter's Wreath

Mrs. Carter's Wreath

My floor is crunchy with glitter, artificial snow and the occasional bit of broken glass. My kitchen stinks of hot glue. I’ve got a real mess to clean up. It’s time to stop and to get on with the stuff I supposed to be doing. Here’s one of the items I was working on. It’s for the lady who cleans my classroom. The custodians really run the school. I still need 3 {yes three} gifts for the IT folks who save my butt now and again, and a host of others. Even so, my heart’s not in it today. My mom is sick and I might need to go home suddenly. Clean clothes are a requirement. I think this is it for this weekend.
